![]() So far, just on points alone, Audirvana Plus is ahead in this two horse race. I am leaing towards whatever app can be used and configured easily given my circumstances that will yield better performance. I’ve not taken into consideration the costs for each app yet. it is laid out well and easily navigable.īoth apps have a significant learnign curve to get the most from them and that process is ongoing. On SQ alone, its hard to say completely but on those files which both apps do render, as said, it is likely too close to call which is best.Īudirvana Plus had no issues surrounding installaton or playback of any file types or sampling rates.Īudirvana interface is read by Apple’s screen reading facility readily. It wil be necessary for anyone whose vision is so poor they can not navigate a mouse to contact amarra support and they will try to overcome this problem on a case by case basis. its an impossible item to over come with out sight or guidance from a sighted person. it occurs at the activation screen where one must use a mouse to click the appropriate button to continue using the app. There is one very important aspect to the installation and operation of the present Amarra app for those whose vision is restricted or severely impaired. Amarra support did in fact lend a hand with setup but there is still a configuration issue preventing Amarra from acting in a stand alone condition and playing Apple’s non supported file formats, FLAC. I’ve had significant issues with Amarra so far. not sure of their actual version numbers though. Switching over to MAC and needing a more formidable media player than iTuynes, I’ve been using the trial versions of both Amara and audirvana as of March 2019. At least they came up with a response to the iTunes 12.4 Fiasco that affected Amarra Symphony.Jumping in just to update this thread a tad from another perspective. ![]() As far as I am concerned, Sonic Studio has taken a distant stance from us users and I don’t understand their reason for doing so. I am sharing with you my direct experience, which matches yours. Please accept my apologies if I have misled you or confused you in any matter. It’s been so long now that I can no longer provide any credible feedback. Is it BitPerfect? Not on my Mac Mini with the latest builds of both programs. I am able to enjoy the music in any event. If these are the results with roon and AsQ+, so be it. Here are my screen captures taken this morning. Now that I have taken the time to review what my screens tell me, make room on your seats for me. Far be it for me to suggest other than what they relate. SO, if Amarra Support is connecting with you and providing you with support, good! Whatever they relate to you comes from the creator. For some time now, I have been sent to the Russian Front for whatever reason. It’s not up to me when I am in the loop and when I am out of the loop. In fact, I have been out of the loop with Sonic Studio for months now. I haven’t a clue what to expect with AsQ+ and room’s new build. ![]() I took two (2) screen captures of my present experience with AsQ+ and roon with SonicStream as the Zone and set as it should with all other enabled zones in NON-Exclusive model. But, I have my own experience as my good counsel. You didn’t bother to share with me what Amarra Support related to you so I have no clue as to what they advised you. I just booted up AsQ+, the latest published release of AsQ+.
